I don't know how practical this really, because I do believe nearly all people shelling out $300 just for this are buying it mainly because they sometimes have an obstruction or distance situation. I am not disappointed. The 240Hz is perfectly for sports and fast moving shows with numerous action -- picture quality is A-1, sharp and clear and does NOT blur with fast and quick action. Has a number of functions than the person implement to improve the format that he / she likes best. The menu interface is definitely User-friendly and provides several choices with input, picture, and audio settings. A real great feature is "clear voice" which sharpens normal speach and makes hearing easier especially with quite a lot of background noise. Also if watching a DVD the television remembers the settings which have been programmed into that particular imput besides the fact that they are often not the same as the settings as you're watching normal TV channels. People doesn't have a to re-program any time you watch a DVD or other optional component.
